Huge thanks are in order

What happens when you cross a fundraising dinner with a farm-to-table dinner and toss in a heaping handful of family-friendly fun? You get Oxbow’s Family Dinner on the Farm! On Saturday, September 16th, we hosted our very first fundraising dinner to benefit our organization, featuring delicious local food (including produce all sourced from our own farm fields), good company, and an enriching and magical night for our younger guests, too. With the enthusiastic support of our guests and sponsors, we netted $28,000 through the event!

We couldn’t have done it without the support of ALL of our incredible sponsors, so we’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who came together and make the evening possible:

PCC Community Markets, for their generous financial, in-kind, and volunteer time contributions. Their dedication to local food, farming, and fostering community aligns beautifully with Oxbow’s mission to inspire people to eat healthy, sustainably grown food and to steward our natural resources for the future. Not only did they contribute as a $5,000 sponsor, they also volunteered staff time to help kids craft their own salad dressing and provided delicious cupcakes for our young guests. We express our deepest gratitude for their involvement.

PCC staff teach our young guests how to make their own salad dressing, which they could take home to enjoy with their families.

Lake Washington Partners and Guckenheimer, for donating countless hours of staff time along with use of their kitchen facilities and equipment. We are especially grateful for Chef Claus and his team of skilled professionals, who embody what it means to support the local food system through the creation of mindfully sourced, vibrant, and healthy meals.

Pagliacci Pizza, for sharing their staff time, donation of pizza dough and toppings for the children’s dinner, and their incomparable pizza-tossing skills.

Paglicacci helped the kids roll out dough and top their pizzas with cheese, pepperoni, and farm-fresh veggies.

Midtown Chiropractic, whose financial support, connection to our community, and dedication to health and wellness are immensely appreciated.

GGN, for their generous support, and for their ongoing involvement in our Native Plant Nursery’s production project for the New Burke Museum landscape.

Hopelink, for their vital partnership in our gleaning efforts to provide healthy produce to area food banks, as well as their financial support.

And Quick Start Shared Services and Steve and Paula Reynolds, for their financial contributions.

Our other generous sponsors include:
