Oxbow CSA

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, where an individual or household subscribes to a local farm for the growing season. Your Oxbow share connects you to your food supply and provides 20 weeks of fresh, local, organic produce that is grown almost exclusively on OUR farm and harvested within 24 hours of delivery. We hand harvest everything at its peak for unsurpassed flavor and nutrition. Our farmers have been farming and running CSA’s for over 12 years, this experience you will see in our variety and taste in our quality. Super fresh & delicious!

Winter Share!

Registration closes November 9th

Our first ever winter share will be filled with all the bounty our mild winters provide in the PNW. This includes carrots, beets, Japanese turnips, radishes, parsnips, greens, lettuce (until the first freeze wipes them out), winter squash, cabbages, onions, leeks & potatoes to enjoy immediately. PLUS extra to store away for the winter, so you can extend your CSA well into the new year!

As you know the weather can be unpredictable in November and December with freezes & floods. Our intention is to provide everything from our farm, but on the leaner weeks we may fill in with other local, organic products to ensure you get your values worth!

During the winter months we have a smaller crew so we have limited our deliveries to only a few drop-sites on Friday's.

We are planning to deliverer the following days:
November 11th & 18th
December 2nd & 9th

*Note we will not deliver the Friday after Thanksgiving.

WE HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SHARE SO SIGN UP TODAY!

Our 2011 regular season is over for the year. We will open up registration for the 2012 season in February.

For our standard season we have 2 share sizes:

Family Share
Generously feeds a family of 4 and is $630 total for 20 weeks of the freshest produce

Small Share
Feeds 1-2 people quite well and is $420 total for 20 weeks of delicious produce

On average your weekly share will have 5-10% more produce than what we would charge you at market, making it an affordable way to get fresh, organic produce.

Oxbow CSA season is 20 weeks from mid June to mid Oxtober.

Your Weekly Box

The contents of your share are grown exclusively on our farm*, are 100% certified organic, Salmon Safe certified and reflect our growing season. The start of the season, in June, you will see a lot of leafy greens, peas & tender spring vegetables. At the height of the season, in August, you will have a hefty box full of the diversity of produce that our region can grow, see example below. And in Oxtober at the close of the season, in addition to all the fresh veggies you’ve fallen in love with, we will load you up storage crops like potatoes, parsnips & squash for winter storage.

Sample Box from Mid-Season
