NPN Workshop #1: Native Plant Identification– Registration Closed

Description

Explore Oxbow and learn some of the important native plants common here in the Snoqualmie Valley! We will walk in some of the natural areas of Oxbow and focus on native plant families, characteristics to look for in field identification, and helpful tools to use while you’re out exploring.

We’ll cover a bit of ground on foot, dress so you are comfortable walking outside. Participants will take home a handout with class notes. Bring a notebook; optional equipment includes hand lens, field guide, smartphone or digital camera.

*This workshop is led by Oxbow’s Native Plant Nursery Manager, Bridget McNassar.

This workshop is best suited for participants ages 15 & up.
