Earth Day Evening Restoration Work Party

April 22 @ 5:00 pm

Earth Day is just one of many days at Oxbow that we like to thank the Earth for all that it gives by giving back. Join in the fun as we celebrate our home planet with some pampering and spring cleaning. This is our first of many opportunities to take advantage of the later sunsets of spring and summer. We will plant native shrubs and trees and remove those blackberries and other weeds that crowd out our beautiful native plants.

Come volunteer with us here at Oxbow and help us restore the native habitats around the farm. We will provide gloves, tools, and water.

You should bring:

  • your reusable water bottle
  • boots or close-toed shoes
  • clothes to get muddy in
  • weather-appropriate outerwear
  • snacks or lunch if you want them

Minor Waivers

Please note that while we welcome minors to volunteer with us, the following waiver must be filled out by a parent or guardian and returned to our Restoration Volunteer Coordinator, either by email at dawn@oxbow.org or in person, the day of your volunteer event!
