SnoValley Tilth Auction is May 30

SnoValley Tilth is a local non-profit that has been supporting sustainable farms in the Snoqualmie Valley, where Oxbow Farm makes its home, for over 10 years. Oxbow’s farmers have worked hand-in-hand with SVT since its founding to help the valley farming community grow and thrive in the face of ever-evolving challenges.

SVT will be holding its annual SnoValley Tilth Friends of the Fields Dinner and Auction on May 30th, 2015, hosted at the Cascade Club on Redmond Ridge from 5pm-9pm. The evening will include live and silent auctions, local wines and beer, and a farm fresh dinner prepared by award-winning chef Mark Bodinet of Copperleaf Restaurant at Cedarbrook Lodge. It will be an exciting night, and many Oxbow farmers will be in attendance.

Tickets are available here.

Auction fundraising efforts are critical in supporting SnoValley Tilth.  As a member organization comprised of over 80 farms, individuals, and community businesses, the annual auction plays a vital role in achieving SVT’s mission to support organic and sustainable food and fiber production throughout the Snoqualmie and Snohomish watersheds.

The funds raised will help grow SVT’s farm incubator program and give consumers a chance to connect directly to their farmers by supporting the Carnation Farmers Market.  SVT also provides educational opportunities and farm tours to the public as well as to farmers and advocates for sound agricultural policy.

Oxbow salutes SnoValley Tilth’s work and is proud to be involved with this dedicated group of farmers and community members. We hope you will support them in their work.
