Get to know Oxbow!

Connect to your food, to the land where it’s grown, and to Oxbow’s work and mission on a fun-filled Oxbow Saturday! Take a tour or gardening workshop, enjoy a nature hike, explore the Kids’ Farm and Living Playgound, shop at our certified organic Farm Stand, and much more!

We are a King County farm located in beautiful Carnation, WA, just 25 miles from Seattle. 


Admission

Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a healthy food system, caring for the land, and educating people about farming and nature. Your support helps us continue to keep our doors open to the community and work toward our mission.

Suggested donation: $5/person or $20/family

Admission donations can be made online or paid at the Farm Stand. Thank you for your support!

Location & visitor info

Oxbow’s Public Entrance does not have a physical address; typing our name into google maps may take you to the wrong entrance. Please carefully follow the directions/view a map for our Public Entrance on our Visitor Info page

Please note: With the exception of registered service animals, dogs are not allowed anywhere at Oxbow, including in the parking lot. We love animals, but please leave your furry friends at home.

Oxbow Saturdays are held on the second Saturday of every month from May through August.

What’s happening on Oxbow Saturdays?

Spend the day with us exploring nature, learning about food and farming, and enjoying all that Oxbow has to offer!

  • Bring a picnic lunch and stay for the day
  • Shop for your favorite seasonal veggies at the Farm Stand (cash, check, and credit card accepted)
  • Explore the Living Playground and Kids’ Farm, and take a hike on the Oxbow Trail- all ages are welcome! 
  • Learn about gardening, native plants, birds, and beyond through workshops, tours, and activities hosted by Oxbow’s partner organizations  
  • Restoration volunteering with Oxbow’s Conservation team 
  • Gleaning for hunger relief organizations  with Oxbow’s Farm Team
  • And more!
