Education Programs

Oxbow’s Education team helps young learners make connections between nature, food, and farming while developing comfort and confidence in the outdoors. In addition to hosting school field trips and other hands-on experiences, Oxbow partners with educators and schools to enrich student learning; from in-class experiences to virtual platforms during distance learning, we meet schools where they’re at!

Oxbow also provides access to age-appropriate, nature-based activities and experiences for the whole family! Use the links below to explore our adaptable program offerings.

School Programs

Our school programs are designed to connect young students to nature, both through on-farm Adventures and in-class Farmer Visits. Whether on the farm or in the classroom, Oxbow educators create learning situations for kids to directly experience and relate to the natural world through sight, sound, touch, taste and smell.
