Open Day at Oxbow 8/8/20
August 8, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Oxbow will be open Saturday, August 8th, from 10AM-3PM. We invite anyone who would like come to join us and use the space as a place to find a bit of solace and experience nature, even if just for a little while. We believe that Oxbow is a place to connect, to reflect, and seek comfort in community, even in a socially-distanced manner!
We will have a very limited number of farm-fresh veggie boxes available for sale at the Farm Stand this Saturday. They will be $25 each, payable by card only. Please note that the Farm Stand will NOT be open for other shopping, other than the veggie boxes!
We simply invite you and your family/household unit to enjoy the space as you’d like. Take in some fresh air, enjoy our four self guided trail walks or our new audio tour, picnic at well-distanced tables, or just take a moment to stretch your legs and enjoy the views. U-Pick flowers and raspberries will be open for Oxbow Members and CSA Shareholders.
A few health and safety rules:
- Visitors must sign in upon arrival – if you are experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms, please stay home!
- Observe social distancing of 6 feet or more and wear a mask or face covering. Per Governor Inslee’s July 7th orders, face coverings are required at all places of business, indoors or out.
- Please bring your own food and refreshments. Pack it in and pack it out!
- Observe all posted signage indicating which areas are for visitors. We’ll provide tables and room to spread out. If you come across an unmarked area, do not enter!
- Dogs are NOT allowed anywhere on Oxbow grounds, including in the parking area.
- Do not enter or harvest from any of the farm fields, including the Kids’ Farm.
- Be mindful that we have Honey Buckets for visitor bathroom use. We will have hand washing stations and hand sanitizer available.
