Volunteer Opportunity: Restoration Work Party

July 13, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Our food is flourishing, but so are invasive weeds! Help us keep our farming sustainable and eco-friendly while you enjoy a day out at Oxbow! We will remove blackberries, bindweed, and other invasive weeds so that our beautiful native plants can live their best lives. Don’t worry, there will still be enough blackberries to make a crumble with next month.

Come volunteer with us and help us restore the native habitats around the farm. We will provide gloves, tools, and water.

You should bring:

  • your reusable water bottle
  • boots or close-toed shoes
  • clothes to get muddy in
  • weather-appropriate outerwear
  • snacks or lunch if you want them

Minor Waivers

Please note that while we welcome minors to volunteer with us, the following waiver must be filled out by a parent or guardian and returned to our Restoration Volunteer Coordinator, either by email at dawn@oxbow.org or in person, the day of your volunteer event!
