Membership and Partnership Associate

We are seeking an Agriculture Program Manager to join our management team as we embark on these ambitious plans.


The Membership and Partnership Associate helps Oxbow increase and improve business development opportunities through partnerships, the membership program, and fundraising. The position will play a leading role in building the infrastructure, processes, performance evaluations and systems to increase Oxbow’s ability to achieve mission goals while broadening the impact of Oxbow’s offerings and programs across the region. This role includes both planning and executing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating across a broad spectrum of stakeholders including Oxbow board members, leaders at Oxbow partner organizations as well as Oxbow members. Membership program development & coordination – 40%

  • Function as membership program expert at Oxbow: provide recommendations for best practices, track and assess results, evaluate other membership programs, and make recommendations for Oxbow membership based on expertise. Advocate for members and the Oxbow membership program across department initiatives.
  • Function as liaison and collaborate with Oxbow’s business managers and program coordinators to develop, link, and align membership, partnership, and fund-raising programs across all areas of Oxbow.
  • Define and execute the membership registration and renewals processes.
  • Track and report membership financial results and expenses.
  • Organize and complete regular membership reports, mailings, and other member-facing materials.
  • Update the CRM membership database in support of the membership program.
  • Integrate partnership benefits within the membership program.
  • Provide onsite delivery and/or coordination at member events.
  • Respond to a diverse range of e-mails, telephone calls, and assorted membership inquiries and troubleshoot member issues and concerns.

Partnership Coordination – 40%

  • Provide coordination support to the Business Development Director regarding annual partnership programs.
  • Bring recommendations and expertise to establish partnership criteria, levels, and a decision-framework to evaluate partnership opportunities.
  • Assess and compile all current Oxbow partnerships and develop a partnership contact database.
  • Manage partnership contact database with consistent updates and review of contact information.
  • Implement legal contract tracking for partnership agreements as well as final agreement storage.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to develop co-marketing components of partnership programs, including printed and digital marketing materials.
  • Function as primary contact for coordination of partnership organization and distribute and coordinate internal communication and deliverables.
  • Integrate partnership measurements and assess performance of partnerships.
  • Produce annual partnership assessment reports.
  • Inform Oxbow staff about partnerships and partnership requirements as needed.

Development & Fundraising Coordination – 20%

  • Produce plans for annual fundraising events (e.g., Giving Tuesday, Family Dinner on the Farm) that illustrate the fundraising goals and recommendations for approach to donor solicitations.
  • Track grants and corporate funding agreements in support of deadlines and requirements.
  • Produce quarterly fundraising reports for the Development Committee.


  • At least 2-5 years of experience in membership programs, partnership coordination and/or venue/event planning and coordination.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects at once using collaborative project management tools.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) daily.
  • Experience using CRM membership database a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Positive leadership skills.
  • Flexible, creative, and able to perform well in diverse conditions and under pressure.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

This is a regular, full-time position, with a competitive compensation package, including 100% employer paid health and dental insurance, generous holiday, vacation, and sick leave. Salary is $51,000 to $53,000, depending on experience.
