Kids will explore the many bounties of the season on a guided 90-minute farm tour. On a curiosity-driven adventure through the farm fields, kids will discover the small but crucial critters that help our plants grow. They’ll even dig in with some real farm skills as they tend to our raised garden beds, harvesting and eating along the way!

  • Explore the Children’s Garden and Living Playground with one of Oxbow’s Farmer-Educators
  • Taste some of the bounty from our organic Kids’ Farm field
  • Stay for your picnic lunch!

We do not charge adults to chaperone along with student groups. If chaperones would like to bring a younger sibling who will NOT be participating in programming (babes in arms or younger toddlers), they may come at no additional charge. If a younger sibling is able to participate in tasting and exploring, then we ask that they be included in the student head count with payment handled through your child’s teacher or field trip coordinator.

Scholarships: If field trip costs pose a hardship, please contact us for scholarship information. Scholarships are based on schools’ free and reduced lunch rates.
