Changing of the guard

The circle of life is in full relief right now at Oxbow as certain crops from last season reach the end of their life cycles while new plants start in the prop house. Last year’s chard, dormant through the cold winter, is preparing to flower, the last stage of its year-long lifespan. This year’s plants have germinated and are getting established in the prop house. Out with the old, in with the new.
