Ladies and gentlemen, the news you have been waiting for: We have finished a draft of our new food safety plan!

Actually, you probably weren’t waiting for that news, but it’s exciting nonetheless! We’ve spent the last six weeks developing our plan, for the most part identifying and putting into words the processes we already have in place to ensure our food is clean and healthy.

With our plan in hand, we’re hoping to become certified in Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) by the end of the season, a critical piece of expanding our farm-to-school sales and ensuring that local kids have frequent opportunities to eat local food during the school day.
