Rolling out farm-to-door CSA delivery with Pagliacci Pizza

Last season marked the inaugural year of a very successful partnership between Oxbow and Pagliacci Pizza, featuring a special home delivery option for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. We are pleased to announce that the partnership is back and bigger in 2016, with 13 Pagliacci locations serving as pick-up sites for our CSA!

If you join Oxbow’s CSA and choose a Pagliacci Pizza location as your pick-up site, you will have the unique opportunity for your OxBox to be delivered to your home! If you order a pizza from Pagliacci on your pick-up day, Pagliacci will deliver your box full of Oxbow vegetables to your door alongside your pizza.

If you don’t want a pizza, no worries. We understand. You can pick up your box yourself at Pagliacci.

The 13 Pagliacci locations participating this season are:

  • Fremont on Stone Way
  • Juanita
  • Kenmore
  • Lake City Way

Our partnership is extending beyond the CSA this season. We are growing a variety of veggies specifically for a few of Pagliacci’s upcoming seasonal pizzas. Pagliacci will be offering a “Zucchini 500” pizza in August and September featuring Oxbow summer squash, a “Tuscan Kale” pizza in October with Oxbow dinosaur kale, and a “Quatro Stagioni” pizza in November with Oxbow delicata squash.

Pagliacci is known around King County for its award-winning pizza and its commitment to environmental sustainability. Matt Galvin, co-owner of Pagliacci, says, “Working with local seasonal foods everyday inspires us to look after our environment. We actively seek fresh ways to use less and use wisely whether it’s composting boxes and food waste, saving water and energy, or doing our part to bring green power to the Pacific Northwest from utilities.”

Partnering with our CSA program is one more way Pagliacci is contributing to a healthy and sustainable King County.

Our Main Season CSA begins the week of July 10. To learn more about the program, click here. To sign up, click here.
