Curious what it’s like to volunteer as a family?

At one restoration work party, we met Madison and her daughter Lennon. Their energy was memorable, so we asked Madison a few questions afterward about what brought them out and what the day meant to them. Her answers are sweet, thoughtful, and might just convince you to join us next time.

Your Impact

By volunteering, you’re doing more than just pulling weeds and planting trees, you’re nurturing healthy ecosystems! Your work supports:

  • Forest Resilience: Help establish a thriving canopy of native trees and understory plants to strengthen biodiversity and ecological balance.
  • Salmon Habitat: Encourage spawning and rearing environments that benefit species like salmon, pollinators, birds, and even orcas!
  • Water Quality Improvement: Contribute to filtering runoff and reducing erosion by restoring flood-prone riparian zones along the Snoqualmie River.
  • Shared Stewardship: Spend meaningful time with others who love the Snoqualmie Valley and want to give back to its lands and waters.
