Feel your muscles move in a meaningful way through hands-on tasks that contribute directly to the next generation of native plants at Oxbow and beyond. From seed to soil, your efforts support habitat restoration and long-term ecological resilience.

Who:
Ages 16+
No limit to group size, there’s plenty of work to go around!

Common Tasks:

  • Seed processing and sowing
  • Thinning and transplanting seedlings
  • Pruning and plant care
  • Weeding nursery beds and containers
  • Washing and sanitizing pots and tools
  • General nursery organization and maintenance

What to Bring

  • Clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty
  • Snacks and water bottle

We’ll provide protective gear, tools, guidance, and gratitude.
