General Member Program Questions

By becoming a Member of Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center, you support our work to inspire people to eat healthy, sustainably grown food and to steward our natural resources for future generations. Oxbow’s work goes beyond farming: it also supports building healthy food systems through conservation and land stewardship, increasing awareness and availability of native plants, and teaching people of all ages about agriculture and the environment.

Oxbow Members receive exclusive access to special events, Members-only U-Pick access, FREE U-Pick herbs and flowers, a 10% discount on produce at our on-farm Farm Stand, member pricing on workshops and tours, and exclusive opportunities to explore and picnic on a stunning slice of Snoqualmie Valley land.

See all 3 Member Levels and a detailed benefits list HERE.

At it’s roots, Oxbow’s New Member Program is Community Supported Agriculture; but it’s not the familiar veggie box delivery program that many people associate with when they hear the “CSA” term. Our former CSA program (along with most modern programs) involved pre-paying for a season of vegetables, delivered to a location near your home or workplace.

Our NEW Member program is different. We’re embracing what Community Supported Agriculture truly is when it first emerged decades ago: a group of mindful people coming together, investing in and learning about sustainable agriculture, and knowing where their food is grown – and the people who grow it. If you’d like to read more about why we’re shifting away from our former delivery model, and why our new model deepens the impact on healthy food systems, check out our blog.

Oxbow’s Member Program gives you access to a whole year of certified organic produce that you get to choose at our on-site Farm Stand. When in season, our U-Pick fields are also open to Oxbow Members. Come out on any Member weekend you want starting in July. There’s no pressure to visit every weekend – the program was built to be flexible, giving you the chance to see your farm and take home produce when it best works for you. While you’re visiting throughout the year, you’ll get to know the farmers behind each and every head of lettuce and bunch of carrots. We like to think that our program is Community Supported Agriculture at its very best!

Oxbow is located in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley, nestled between the cities of Duvall and Carnation off of Hwy 203. Our Farm Stand is located on-site. We’re just 25 miles from Seattle! Get detailed driving directions and other visitor info here.

Thank you for supporting Oxbow! You will receive an email when your Member Packet is mailed out. In the meantime, the confirmation email you received during registration will serve as your temporary Member card. To conserve resources and support a healthy environment, we will send many Member materials digitally. If you’ve recently joined as a Member, make sure that members@oxbow.org is added to your address book.

Your Member packet will include:

  • Your Member card. Please keep your card safe! You’ll need to present it when you and your group check in at the Farm Stand. Depending on your Member level, your card will come pre-loaded with a designated dollar amount of OxDough to be used at our Farm Stand. See more about OxDough below.
  • Information about discounts on workshops and expert tours, Summer Camps, and venue rentals

Member tote bags are currently in production and will be available for pickup at our Farm Stand starting in July.

If you’d like to check on the status of your Member packet, please contact us at members@oxbow.org or give us a call at 425-788-1134 x 1.

All Member levels get to take advantage of a 10% Member discount! The discount can be used at the Farm Stand and U-Pick produce, Summer Camp registration, birthday parties, and event venue rental! At the Farm Stand, just show your Member card to receive your discount. For online registrations, use your special Member discount code, which can be found in your Member packet.

If you cannot find your discount code, please contact us at members@oxbow.org or give us a call at 425-788-1134.

OxDough is the dollar amount that’s loaded onto your Member card. $1 in OxDough is equal to $1 USD. Funds will be pre-loaded onto Members’ cards at the Cultivator and Steward levels, and all levels may add OxDough to their Member card at any time.

We power our OxDough system through Square. If you need to check your OxDough balance or add funds, we’re happy to assist you! Just contact members@oxbow.org or call 425-788-1134.

OxDough can be used for any purchases made at the Farm Stand. It can also be used for Farm Stand and “magic bean” purchases during our annual Oxtober Pumpkin Festival.

Yes, we also accept cash, check, debit, or credit to pay for your farm stand and U-Pick purchases. We do require you to show your Member card to receive your 10% member discount, even if you use a different form or payment.

No worries! Your OxDough transfers over to the next season. You can continue to use your OxDough when the growing season rolls around again!  OxDough can also be used for Farm Stand and “magic bean” purchases during our Oxtober Pumpkin Festival – Oxtober is a great opportunity to take advantage of the harvest season, get your Jack-O-Lanterns, take a hay ride, and more!

Note: OxDough is not refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.
