About the Grow the Moment Online Auction

This spring, we shared over 1,000 garden starts (and lots of gardening tips!) with local families – we hope to share even more this fall!

Earlier this spring, as we all were just beginning to understand the impact that COVID-19 would have on people worldwide, Oxbow immediately recognized that getting safer, locally-grown food into the community would be a critical priority for the foreseeable future.

While we might not have the chance to host fun events and gather in person at Oxbow as much as we’d hoped this summer, we’re thrilled to have shifted swiftly and creatively:

  • To distribute thousands of pounds of certified organic produce to Food Access partners in the greater Seattle area
  • To distribute over 1,000 garden starts to local families so that they could grow their own food
  • To offer access to our trails and open spaces for all who need a breath of fresh air and room to explore

And we aren’t slowing down any time soon! You’re invited to connect with the Oxbow community in a fun and meaningful way, even if we can’t be together in person.

Help Oxbow Grow the Moment in a unique Online Fundraiser, Sept 21-25, 2020.

With your help, we’ll provide:
·       More fresh food to vulnerable communities,
·       Free and low-cost Farm Adventures to Families in our region,
·       More fall plant starts for budding home gardeners,
·       And creative digital resources to enhance at-home learning.
