Membership FAQs

Oxbow’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and Member Program are two of the many ways that you can support Oxbow’s work and mission. What’s the difference between the two programs?

CSA Shareholders

Shareholders make an up-front investment that supports our farmers in all aspects of the growing seasons. In return, shareholders receive a weekly “share” of produce through one (or all!) of our 3 seasonal CSA program options—6 weeks in the spring, 20 weeks in the summer, and 6 weeks in the late fall.

Oxbow Members

Members support all areas of Oxbow’s work. Membership is valid for 365 days, during which members have access to a host of benefits including event invitations, special Member Days, program discounts, and more. If you’re not able to come out to Oxbow frequently or don’t need your fridge stocked with a weekly haul of veggies, then becoming a member is a great way to show your support of our work and mission!

Oxbow Members get a 10% discount on CSA shares and a 10% discount at the Farm Stand.

Yes! Your Oxbow membership covers anyone in your household, whether that’s your family, partner, roommates, or whoever else is in your “pod” when you check in at member events. (But, please leave your furry friends at home!)

If you have any questions, please email us at members@oxbow.org.

Thank you for supporting Oxbow! You will receive an email acknowledging your membership signup. To conserve resources and support a healthy environment, we send most Member communications digitally. If you’ve recently joined as a Member, make sure that members@oxbow.org is added to your address book.

To receive your Member tote bag, stop by the Farm Stand on any open day or during Oxtober hours.

To use your discounts on Summer Camp or the CSA program, simply ensure that you are signed in to your Oxbow account while registering; your discount will be automatically applied at checkout.

To use your discount at the Farm Stand, tell the Oxbow staff person that you are a Member during checkout; they’ll verify your Membership and apply your discount.

To use your discount at any of our Seattle-area Farmers Market booths (see our Where to Find Us page to learn about market sites), tell the Oxbow staff person that you are a Member during checkout; they’ll verify your Membership and apply your discount.

All other event discounts will be communicated via email when event registration opens.
