Nestled among Oxbow’s organic farm fields and forest trails, Oxtober is a place where the beauty of the changing season truly shines.
Slow down and savor the season, or follow your curiosity wherever it leads.
Gather pumpkins and admire late-season native blooms, create nature crafts, romp through House ’O Hay, launch apples at Sling King, or hop aboard a tractor to explore the farm and see conservation in action.
With room to wander, wonder, laugh, learn, and play, you can make the day as peaceful or playful as you please.
Every experience grows from our deep love for the land and the joy of sharing it with our community.

Sling King Apple Slingshot

Your ticket includes parking, activities, and tours. Pumpkins, food and drinks, Plant Stand goods, and Workshops are available for an additional cost.

Volunteer at Oxtober
Help make the fall magic happen! Lend a hand with nature crafts, wrangle worms, keep Sling King slinging, welcome guests aboard hayrides, or help behind the scenes with festival setup and groundskeeping.

FAQs
Costumes are encouraged! Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather, and don’t forget closed-toe waterproof shoes and warm jackets. Prepare to embrace a bit of mud during your visit.
Almost all activities and tours are included with admission. Bundle Dyeing, Fermentation, Gardening with Native Bulbs, and Native Teas workshops can be purchased as add-ons during the ticketing process. Pumpkins, refreshments, native plants, and dry bulbs are available for purchase at the festival.
Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to purchase tickets in advance to streamline check-in and help us plan for food and staff. Plus, advance tickets are $1 less than at the door. Your early registration helps us ensure enough food for everyone and minimizes waste. Thank you for your support!
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed past the Farm Stand. Please leave your furry friends at home for this event. Thank you for your cooperation!
Portable restrooms (Honey Buckets) are available for visitors. Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer will be provided.
