Summer Camp Volunteers

Experience the magic of summer camp with this unique volunteer opportunity.

Love digging in the dirt, spending time outdoors, and teaching kids about nature? This fun and fulfilling volunteer opportunity might be right for you!

Great experience for college applications and resumes, plus free organic produce at the end of each camp day in beautiful Snoqualmie Valley.

Ages 15 & up | Pre-registration required | 8 hours daily during camp sessions

Oxbow will host 5 week-long camp sessions in 2021 for campers ages 7 through 14 and we need volunteer helpers!

Volunteers arrive an hour before, and stay for an hour after, each camp day for prep & debriefing (8am-4pm Mon-Fri).

On-farm summer camp volunteer training held in mid-June 2021 (depending on volunteer availability). Must be 15 or older by June 2021 and pass background check.

Parents/guardians of campers are encouraged to volunteer!

COVID-19 Considerations- Volunteers must be ready to set an example of mask-wearing, social distancing, and proper hand-washing and help campers do the same!

An important note about COVID-19

COVID-19 has changed volunteering at Oxbow. Some of our volunteer opportunities are on hold while others are limited in size. Please see the information under each volunteer type to find out more.

If you are volunteering at Oxbow, here are the steps that every volunteer needs to follow before leaving their house:

  1. Read our COVID Safe Events Plan
  2. Come wearing a mask and bring your own hand sanitizer, a full water bottle, and gardening gloves if you have them
  3. Under age 18? Please also bring a completed Minor Waiver form
